Wherever You Are, Be All There:

This was a challenge to me posed by my Pastor — Jamie George. Wherever you are, be all there. Think about that statement for a while.

I’ve got it posted on my computer. I think about this almost daily. I think about it when I’m with my kids and I think I’ve got to check my email on my Treo for the 20th time that day.  I think about it when I am at lunch with a friend and I begin to let my mind wander on to other things. I think about it when I’m on the golf course and I begin to think about the next hole instead of the current shot before me. I think about it when I’m 80% done with a project and I am ready to move on to the next.

Wherever you are, be all there.

It’s a pretty powerful statement. It’s a pretty powerful challenge.

You mentioned this to me about a year ago at lunch with BT at Otters. I too have thought about alot since then. It’s hard but if you commit to it then you are not only improving your life, you are improving the life of those around you as you genuinely invest in them.
